This time, Fr. John and Danny explore how Seth’s line preserves God’s original purpose for humanity, as men begin to call on the Lord and figures like Enoch and Noah “walk with God” in contrast to Cain’s corrupt descendants (Gen. 4:26; 5:1–3; 6:9). Noah, whose name means “rest,” embodies the hope of restoring Eden’s seventh‑day rest, showing that God quietly works through the faithful even as evil reaches its zenith (Gen. 5:29; 6:5–12). Though chaos often appears to prevail, Scripture affirms that God remains sovereign and will not lose His creation to sin and disorder.
